Home of the PC12 in the South! THE PILATUS PC12 An Airplane with Swiss Watch Precision
Would you like an airplane that accommodates six to nine passengers in comfort and luxury and still has ample room for in-flight business conferences? Is it really possible to get quiet, efficient, economic speed from a single engine, turbine aircraft? How about a single engine airplane with a really large cargo door that is able to carry 4,000+ pounds and operates from short and unimproved airfields?
Get ready to fall in love!
In 1995, the solid and stately Pilatus, PC12 quietly entered the single engine, turbine aircraft market. It is a pressurized, multi-mission airplane for business and pleasure that can takeoff and land on a postage stamp and offers new levels of comfort and convenience. The "Executive" version can seat six, seven, or eight passengers in a club arrangement allowing passengers the option of working or relaxing in beautifully appointed luxury. The PC-12 "Standard" will comfortably seat up to nine passengers in an airline configuration. And, if you need a work horse, the "Combi" or the "Cargo" version is the ideal freight hauler with a tremendous useful load and cabin volume, plus a huge cargo door that accomodates a standard pallet or cargo pod.
All new PC12s feature well-equipped fully integrated cockpits. The latest technology offered in a Honeywell Primus Apex system has just arrived in 2008 on the Next Generation PC12. With a business range of over 1500 nautical miles, including IFR reserves, the PC-12's 280 knot cruise speed enables it to cover far more ground for the same amount of fuel consumed by the twin competition. This efficiency along with it reasonable operating expenses saves thousands of dollars for its operators annually. Pressurization, climb performance and a 30,000 foot altitude ceiling enables the airplane to quickly get on top of weather into the clear. The PC12 is certified to handle all icing conditions.
