IKHANA RWMI DHC-6-200HG Increased Gross Weight To 12,500 Lbs, PT6A-27 Engines, Wing Life Extension Completed, Performance of a DHC-6-300!

This DHC-6 Twin Otter is well equipped and ready to go into service with the performance capabilities of a DHC-6-300 aircraft. Modified with IKHANA’s RWMI DHC-6-200HG STC the aircraft has a MTOW of 12,500 pounds and is equipped with a “long” nose forward baggage compartment as well as an enlarged aft baggage door and aft baggage shelf extension. RWMI DHC-6-200HG aircraft typically have a lower empty weight when compared to similarly equipped DHC-6-300 aircraft providing increased payload capacity. It has current maintenance status and just completed a Baseline Five Year Corrosion inspection. The interior shell has been replaced with “NEW” hardshell (Kydex) plastic two-tone interior panels and looks like a new airplane. Equipped with a passenger air-stair door and fuselage emergency exit hatches this aircraft is ready for placement into passenger revenue service. As part of the modifications the fuselage exterior was stripped, etch alodined, primered and painted using DuPont Imron AF400 polyurethane enamel sporting a classic clean look in White and Black. - Exterior painted Matterhorn white with DuPont Imron AF400 polyurethane enamel, no stripes, wing exhaust path painted black, with fuselage registration markings.
