Large cabin, pressurized *quiet* twin. Full nose-to-tail restoration completed in 2009 makes this airplane a significant value. Not possible to duplicate this airplane at this price. Intensive IRAN completed in early 2009. No squawks left untouched. Cockpit completely rebuilt using latest Chelton Flight Logic 6.0b two-screen EFIS with Synthetic Vision and Highway-In-The-Sky, WAAS capable GPS, modern Garmin nav/coms and digital engine monitoring. Aircraft fully rewired during restoration adding nearly 500lbs of useful load over standard 685 airplanes. (6792lbs empty weight. Most 685s are significantly heavier when you check the logbooks!) Full deice, color radar, WSI satellite datalink, Ryan Traffic and seven-place intercom bring high-end capability and luxury to this affordable twin.
Airframe: Only 3109 hours since new. Always hangared by current owner. 1997 paint in excellent condition. 1997 interior in very good condition. All glass excellent condition. Boots in excellent condition. Pressurization very good. Pampered airplane, excellent overall condition. Engine Specs: GTSIO-520K Engines. Smooth and *VERY* quiet operation. Left Engine: 377 SMOH with no squawks. Right Engine: 18 SMOH with no squawks. All new hoses and fittings both engines/gear/pressurization system. All new baffeling. Prop(s): Left Prop: 18 SOH with new heat pads, brushes. Right Prop: 18 SOH with new heat pads, brushes. Polished Aluminum Spinners. Modifications/Conversions: Glass cockpit (see avionics below) Entirely new electronics/avionics (reduces aircraft weight dramatically) Polished Aluminum Spinners Extended Range Fuel Tanks (322 gal. total vice 257 gal) Max fuel provides 5:30 range at 65%/205KTAS. Longer range at lower power settings. Cleveland Wheels/Brakes. All cockpit gauges fitted with Nu-Lite circumfrential lighting. Fasten Seatbelt/No Smoke illuminated cabin sign. All new cabinetry with sliding ice tray and plenty of manuals storage space. Fully restored main, overhead, skirt and center console panels. Fully restored yokes powder coated for durability. Fully reconstructed center console with powder coated fittings and checklist storage brackets. Freon Air Conditioning and mid-cabin recirc fan for increased airflow to cockpit. Vertical Tail illumination lights for increased visibility at night. All new tires. Re-plated or powder coated all appropriate parts for new-aircraft appearance. Cockpit Glare Shield built from new, heat/sun resisting material and gives cockpit a new-airplane look and feel. Avionics/Radios: Brand new panel includes Chelton Flight Logic 2-screen EFIS w/Synthetic Vision and Highway in the Sky and WAAS approach capability. Satellite datalink puts NEXRAD, TAFS, METARS, TFRs and more right on chelton displays. Dual Garmin SL-30 Nav/Coms with remote pre-select from Chelton EFIS. S-TEC System 65 with altitude pre-select and flight director. (This is the only 685 STC'd with this highly capable and manufacturer supported autopilot) Yoke Mounted Autopilot Disconnect switch and electric trim. RYAN TCAS traffic displays in 3D on Chelton Primary Flight Display and Nav Display. 2" Standby electrically driven instruments. Dual Gemini Digital Engine Monitoring. Dual Davtron digital clocks Engine compartment Teperature monitoring. Shadin Fuel Flow both engines. Color Radar 84 Strike Finder PMA 8000 Intercom system with auto-squelch.
