|
The German Nato Alpha Jet is a Twin Fan Transonic Tractical Fighter/Bomber. This aircraft has the larger -20 Engines, Incredible Performance, Only 21 in Civilian Hands, Lowest Airframe Time, Great Maintenance History and is VERY FAST!
These engines are an axial flow dual spool engine and produce approximately 3300 lbs thrust / engine.
The aircraft length 40.89 feet. Wing span 29.90 feet. Height 13.75 feet. Empty weight is approximately 3500 kg's. Max a/c TO is 7500 kgs.
This aircraft is capable of flight to 50K feet however is not RVSM compliant. It holds approximately 710 gallons of fuel with aux tanks installed. With no pylons or drops installed this a/c has a 0 drag index with the mass based at 5393 kgs. With pylons and aux tanks installed the drag index is 12 and mass of 6231 kgs.
