The Frasca TruFlite HTM Helicopter FTD is configured to represent a light single piston engine powered helicopter. The panel configuration is similar to that of a Robinson R44. Using Frasca's recently developed TruFlite technology, it It is possible to change the performance of the simulated aircraft to approximate that of the R22, R44 and Schweizer. The cyclic control is configurable between the Robinson T Bar configuration and a conventional two stick arrangement.
Cockpit Simulation: The TruFlite HTM cockpit consists of an open cockpit surrounded by a simple frame that resembles the external shape of a helicopter. The cockpit includes:
Panel assembly including an LCD display for the primary instrumentation
Console assembly including avionics and other aircraft controls.
Two seats
Dual collectives
Dual detachable conventional cyclic controls
Detachable Robinson Style T bar cyclic control
Dual anti-torque pedals
This unit is configured to be mobile. It is contained in a 16' enclosed trailer.
