This beautifully built RV-8 (IS NOT AN 8-A) has been crafted by an "actual" pro, with 40+ years of fabricating and restoring aircraft of all types to the level of "show quality." He now has four RV's under his wings in addition to the 60-something other rebuilds he has polished-off. This RV-8 is a very special airplane with many custom touches. It even has built-in oxygen!
Airframe:
625 Hours Since New, flown by Owner/Builder. Very regularly flown since completion in 2003. All systems are in perfect working order. All performance numbers meet or exceed those established by Van's. Perfect rigging and flight characteristics. 625 Since Complete Major Overhaul - Lycoming IO-360, 200HP. Professionally flown (really) by owner/builder and operator of a multi-faceted aircraft marketing and consulting firm. Oil consumption is nominal, compressions are way up. This engine has been conscientiously attended to; it's AOK in every way..
