Boeing To Showcase 787-9 Dreamliner, Military Platforms & More At 2019 International Paris Air Show
Among the collection of commercial and defense aerospace products, services, and technologies that Boeing plans to showcase at the upcoming 2019 International Paris Show running June 17 to 23 will be a Boeing 737 converted freighter and passenger air vehicle, as well as a 787-9 Dreamliner operated by Air Tahiti Nui. Also on tap will be 360-degree interactive theater experience in the Static Display C2.
Commercial & Military
This year marks the 53rd version of the International Paris Show, which takes place at the Exhibition Center of Le Bourget just a few miles north of Paris. The event will feature more than 2,300 international exhibitors and 140,000-plus visitors. Roughly 140 aircraft are expected to perform flying displays and be on exhibit.
Boeing says the Air Tahiti Nui 787-9 Dreamliner will display the various capabilities and innovations that has made the aircraft a “favorite of both operators and customers.” Air Tahiti Nui acquired the 787-9 Dreamliner last year, marking its first Boeing aircraft ever. Elsewhere, besides the Boeing 737 converted freighter and passenger air vehicle, the U.S. Department of Defense will have such Boeing platforms as the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, a CH-47 Chinook heavy-lift helicopter, an F-15 Eagle fighter, and a P-8 maritime patrol aircraft on hand. The Paris Air Show will also mark the debut of the KC-46 tanker, Boeing says.
Step Inside
The 360-degree theater Boeing will stage at the airshow will provide an immersive environment where visitors can learn about Boeing’s capabilities throughout the product lifecycle, Boeing says. Besides highlighting Boeing’s latest aircraft and services, the theater experience will give visitors a look at Boeing’s vision “for the future of mobility.”
You’ll find a big selection of new and used Boeing aircraft for sale every day, including Boeing Business Jets, 737s, and 787s.
