Honeywell says its new data-driven analytics platform, Honeywell Forge, provides business aviation organizations with an unprecedented level of clarity and control. The platform offers a suite of mission-management abilities focused on connectivity, flight operations, navigation databases, and maintenance, and replaces the Honeywell GoDirect portfolio of solutions. Honeywell says the new suite aims to help flight departments spot operational inefficiencies that need improving. There are also Honeywell Forge software solutions for use in the building, industrial, worker, and cybersecurity segments.

    Ongoing Visibility

Featuring an integrated dashboard that can issue real-time alerts regarding connectivity issues and flight plan changes, Honeywell Forge gives business aviation operations a complete and intuitively arranged handle on all of their data. Users can then dig into data that can help them troubleshoot and remedy issues as they surface.

John Peterson, Honeywell Connected Enterprise vice president and general manager for software and services, says Honeywell knows flight departments need a “holistic solution that combines the entire fleet operation into a single view." The technology that Honeywell Forge provides, he says, “enables operators to prevent problems and have ongoing visibility into their fleet status in real time.” That, in turn, helps them focus on their work, as they can rest assured that any issues will immediately be brought to their attention.

    Real-Time Insights

Honeywell says Forge will focus on providing state-of-the-art enhanced offerings, partner integrations, and a better user experience. “Software enhancements will help customers oversee their entire operation, improve how they manage their fleet, and reduce operational costs while improving the passenger experience,” says Honeywell, which lists custom alerts, real-time insights and actions, and 24/7 personalized service and support as key advantages of the platform.
