Embraer and CAE announced at the recent 2021 National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) event that a full-flight simulator for the Phenom 300E will be available from Embraer-CAE Training Services (ECTS) during the second half of 2022. The location of the new simulator, designed to meet the growing demand for business jet training in the U.S., is expected to be announced by ECTS in the coming months. Embraer currently has six simulators for the Phenom family of business jets at its training locations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Brazil.

    About The Phenom 300E

The Phenom 300E has been the best-selling light jet worldwide for nine consecutive years and currently has 600 units in operation. The light jet can reach Mach 0.80 and with a high-speed cruise of 464 knots and a five-occupant range of 2,010 nautical miles (3,722 kilometers) with NBAA IFR reserves. The cockpit enables single-pilot operation with the advanced Prodigy Touch Flight Deck, which includes features such as a Runway Overrun and Awareness Alerting System, Emergency Descent Mode, and coupled go-around.

The Phenom 300E has a spacious cabin and one of the largest baggage compartments in its category, a wardrobe, and a refreshment center. Its large windows provide natural light to the cabin as well as the private lavatory, and its reclining seats have full movement capability. The cabin also has distinct temperature zones for pilots and passengers and voice and data communications options.

    A Growing Market

“Our purpose with the new full-flight simulator, besides offering our customers additional capacity for training in the U.S., is to bring the latest technological updates of the aircraft and simulation technology, while providing the highest level of service to the market as the number of Phenom 300E deliveries continues to grow,” says Johann Bordais, president and CEO, Embraer Services & Support.
