Daher To Spotlight Kodiak Turboprops As Low-Cost ‘Force Multipliers’ At Verticon 2026

Daher will showcase its 10-seat Kodiak 100 and Kodiak 900 turboprops at Verticon 2026, positioning both as fixed-wing “force multipliers” for helicopter-centric fleets. The company says the aircraft can support law enforcement, public safety, and government operators with significantly lower operating costs than common alternatives—averaging about $400 per hour, including fuel—and extended endurance. Daher says Kodiak turboprops can deliver up to 9.5 hours of flight time in certain configurations.

“As agencies increasingly seek greater endurance, along with extended coverage and more adaptable missions, the Kodiak 100 and Kodiak 900 offer compelling solutions with their persistent surveillance capabilities,” says Daher CEO Nicolas Chabbert.

    Daher’s Debut At Verticon

Verticon 2026, formerly Heli-Expo, is set to take place March 9-12 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. This will be Daher’s first appearance at the event, which is organized by Vertical Aviation International (VAI) and is billed as the world’s largest vertical-aviation conference and trade show. Daher will exhibit in the Verticon Connect area.

    Turboprops Built For Multi-Mission Work

Since acquiring the Kodiak line in 2019, Daher has steadily expanded the aircraft family’s capabilities. The current 10-seat Kodiak 100 Series III, introduced in 2021, incorporates numerous improvements, while the larger Kodiak 900, introduced in 2022, offers extended range, speed, and payload.

Daher says about one-third of annual Kodiak sales go to multi-mission operators. Along with intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), the Kodiak family supports mapping, training, air ambulance, fire suppression support, parachute operations, wildlife management, and other special missions.

On The Beat: The Kodiak 900 MMA

A focal point for Daher at Verticon will be the Kodiak 900 Multi-Mission Aircraft (MMA), equipped with a 15-inch-class sensor turret controlled from a full console inside the cabin. During a recent evaluation with a U.S. law enforcement agency, the aircraft supported two felony arrests in a single day, including locating a suspect vehicle in just 52 seconds.
