Year-Over-Year Used Aircraft Inventory Levels Continue To Slide In June
Sandhills Global’s newest market reports cover June data for pre-owned aircraft on Controller.com and other Sandhills platforms. Inventory levels showed notable reductions both month over month and year over year across numerous categories in June. The light jet aircraft segment exhibited the largest M/M inventory decline at 7.6%, while the biggest Y/Y inventory shift occurred in the large jet aircraft segment, down 40%.
Asking prices M/M and Y/Y also dipped across most categories. Among winged aircraft, only turboprop aircraft showed asking price increases, rising 3.1% M/M and 3.3% Y/Y. The largest M/M asking price decrease occurred in the super midsize jet category, down 4.4%, while the midsize jet aircraft segment showed the most significant Y/Y decrease at 6.5%.
