Description
On of the favorite Mooney models for those that 'know'... 200 knots of speed (in the flight levels) on a miserly 13.5 gallons of fuel per hour. On our flight from Los Angeles to the San Antonio area (Non-Stop, by the way), we saw speeds of 185 knots true at 11,500 MSL on 13.5GPH. The -MB engine runs nicely LOP, so you can get the fuel flow even lower by fling lean of peak. Couple that with Monroy Long Range Fuel tanks, and you can literally fly from coast to coast in the US with a single fuel stop.Specifications
