Description
AT Aviation FR are presenting a De Havilland Vampire for sale. A former Swiss Army machine, F-AZHX has had the same owner for the last 32 years. The Vampire replaced the single-piston fighters in the RAF and was the first Jet engined aircraft to cross the Atlantic, as the years progressed they moved onto being a training aircraft. Built in 1951, this machine hasn't flown since 2021 due to the reactor sucking up some FOD (stones) on the taxiway. The aircraft has been run every few months but isn't currently flying. With some work the aircraft can fly again, and there is another Reactor available in the package which will just require an overhaul.
She is in great condition and has been kept to an excellent standard by her current owners, a reluctant sale but we are finding her a new home. Please get in touch for more details or images.
