Inspection StatusLIFE LIMITS
Bombardier Aerospace (Shorts) Skyvan Maintenance Program Section 1-2A identifies all the Mandatory Life Limits applicable to structures, landing gear, systems, and equipment of the SC-7 aircraft. The latest revision, A.L.23, sets the initial airframe life limit to 20,000 flights. Compliance with Shorts SB 51-51 and (US) AD 2003-17-05 R1 extends the life of the airframe to 27,000 flights for US registered aircraft. This life can be increased to 30,000 flights by approval of an AMOC to the above mentioned AD since 30,000 landings is the Shorts approved life limit for aircraft not registered for US operation. Life extension for aircraft N101UV was completed 5 March 2021 at TTAF - 14,267.1, TCAF - 19,975.
