JUPITER AVIONICS JACS-001
Description
The JACS-001 Audio Control System is designed to distribute and control all the transceiver, receiver, aural messages, microphone and intercom audio within the aircraft.
Multiple users may operate the system via a choice of control panel types that communicate with the JACS-001 to set audio controls and relay system information.
The JACs-001 can be configured to support either low or high impedance headsets. It has an integrated speaker amplifier which allows the user to monitor receive audio without a headset or as a PA system for the passengers. By using a Windows based application (ProCS), configuration settings may be changed using a PC, even when the unit is installed in the Aircraft.
Prioritising essential radio traffic may be augmented using the integral 3D audio feature which allows the user to assign spatial locations within the stereo headset to each incoming audio signal.
