    Description
    The Shark 600 is a two seat tandem aircraft with retractable gear, constant speed hydraulic prop, and a full Carbon Fiber airframe. Since 2009 Shark Aero has worked tirelessly building in function, safety, and performance to create the most refined and capable aircraft available in a tandem seat plane today. Known for its record setting speed, range, and around the world reliability, Shark serial number 123 began it’s life with an Atlantic crossing and was presented for the first time at Airventure 2023. Since then it has been kept in a heated hangar in between shows, and enjoying the attention of a licensed mechanic who holds AME, A&P IA, and AMO designations. Serviced regularly with Rotax and Shark specified maintenance schedules. This example has a full Garmin suite, including the G3X 10 inch screen in the front seat, and the 7 inch screen in the rear. It has a Garmin G5 back up EFIS, which is also connected to the Autopilot as a back up to the G3X. Transponder is a Garmin 345DR – an exceptional piece of kit which makes this plane capable of travel and ADSB compliance anywhere in the world. The diversity antenna means it is communicating with both ground and satellite tracking. It also includes a GDL51 satellite weather system, which includes Serius XM music too! The radio is a Trig TY91 which has all the functionality and interface to control like a Garmin radio, without the bulky size. A carbon monoxide detector by Aithre is included. The Garmin GFC 500 autopilot works flawlessly and makes any flight a hands off automated experience, from gear up to gear down everything is automated. The Shark features Beringer wheels and brakes, with new tires every annual (for that factory fresh look at all shows). Post factory additions include a Garmin 175 IFR Navigator, LED cockpit lighting, and ANDAIR cleanable fuel filters. The Shark includes all Shark supplied tools such as custom jackstands for gear swings, wing bolt removal tools, and much more. Brake spares, tire changing kit, brake bleeding kit, and gaskets for many future tire changes. Full logs of all flights and maintenance is included with a current January annual inspection date. For our Canadian customers, this plane is available with a C- registration in the Special C of A Ltd category (treat it like a certified plane). For our American customers, it is available as an Experimental with an N- Registration. This Shark features 40 gallons total fuel capacity, which means you can fly incredible ranges up to 1000 miles at 75% power! Its safety features have set the bar for all others, with 30 passive and active systems all designed to take care of its pilots and passengers. The Kevlar cockpit and whole airframe parachute system make every flight as safe as possible, while leaving you to focus on your skills and enjoyment. The Shark is the only plane to offer both adjustable seats and pedals. Quickly and easily find the best seating position for you and your passenger that gives you the most ergonomic access to flight controls, while preserving the incredible view and visibility afforded by the large fighter jet like cockpit canopy.
