    Description

This beautifully presented 1976 Cessna 182P Skylane combines a well-preserved 2,962-hour airframe with a freshly overhauled Continental O-470-S engine, a factory-new McCauley Black Mac propeller and an extensive recent firewall-forward refurbishment, creating one of the most compelling ownership opportunities currently available in the European 182 market. Originally delivered in the United States as N86AD, the aircraft was ferried across the Atlantic into Germany in 1999 before joining the UK register as G-OJHC in 2007. It benefits from complete UK maintenance records, extensive ownership history and is supplied with a valid Annual Inspection and ARC until 21 January 2027. The aircraft is equipped with the highly desirable Horton STOL conversion, including drooped wing tips, wing fences and flap gap seals, providing excellent short-field capability while retaining the renowned cross-country performance of the Skylane. Long Range fuel tanks provide 75 US gallons usable fuel, complemented by wheel fairings, strobe lighting and an excellent useful touring specification. One of the strongest selling points is the recently completed firewall-forward investment. The Continental O-470-S has been professionally overhauled and has accumulated only 10 hours since overhaul. At the same time the aircraft received a factory-new McCauley 2A34C203/90DCA-8 Black Mac propeller, new Superior cylinders, refurbished engine baffles, new McFarlane engine controls, powder-coated engine mount and baffles, together with new Barry engine shock mounts. The new owner benefits from an aircraft that has effectively begun a new engine operating cycle. The avionics suite provides an excellent IFR platform and includes: Garmin GNS530 GPS/NAV/COM Garmin GMA340 Audio Panel King KCS55 HSI Trig TT31 Mode S Transponder (ADS-B Out) S-TEC System 50 Two-Axis Autopilot King KN64 DME Narco ADF841 Dual Altimeters LC2 Chronometer Four-place Intercom The exterior has recently undergone a professional machine polish, compound and ceramic seal, presenting exceptionally well. Inside, the aircraft retains its original character while benefiting from carefully selected sympathetic improvements, including replacement McFarlane interior plastics where required, refurbished seating finished in bespoke Abraham Moon Yorkshire Herringbone Denim Blue Tweed with matching blue vinyl, together with refinished matt-black instrument panel fascia and glare shield, creating a clean, timeless cockpit presentation. Unlike many comparable aircraft now approaching 6,000 hours total time, G-OJHC combines exceptionally low airframe time with one of the most significant recent firewall-forward investments available in this market. Additional highlights include: Only 2,962 Hours Total Time Continental O-470-S — 10 Hours SMOH McCauley Black Mac Propeller — 10 Hours Since New Horton STOL Kit Wing Fences Flap Gap Seals Drooped Wing Tips Long Range Fuel Tanks (75 USG Usable) Wheel Fairings Strobe Lighting Garmin IFR Avionics S-TEC 50 Two-Axis Autopilot ARC & Annual Valid Until 21 January 2027 Compatible with UL91 Unleaded Fuel Compatible with the Peterson Mogas STC for the O-470-S / 182P combination (where approved by the operating authority) This is an exceptionally honest, well-documented Skylane that has been thoughtfully improved while remaining true to its original character. It would suit the private owner seeking one of the lowest-time European Cessna 182Ps available, with outstanding touring capability, proven IFR equipment and the confidence of a virtually new firewall-forward package. Worldwide enquiries are welcome. Extensive maintenance records, ownership history, high-resolution photographs and additional information are available on request.
