    Description

This 2017 Diamond DA42 NG (registration ZK-WUN) is a low-time, late-model example of the aeroplane that rewrote the economics of the light twin. Just 1,411.7 hours since new in nine years, with the right engine and both propellers fitted new in October 2023 and a Review of Airworthiness that runs to June 2027. The DA42 NG pairs a carbon composite airframe with two Austro AE300 turbo-diesels running on Jet A-1, around nine to ten gallons an hour combined for a genuine four-seat twin. Garmin G1000 flight deck, GFC 700 autopilot, TKS ice protection and built-in oxygen. Maintained to the manufacturer's programme by the New Zealand International Commercial Pilot Academy (NZICPA), it suits multi-engine training, charter, survey work, or an owner who wants the second engine without the second fuel bill. HIGHLIGHTS Finished in white with a red and blue scheme over a light grey leather interior, this DA42 NG is in active service with every inspection current: • Low-time 2017 airframe, 1,411.7 hours since new • Right engine fitted new October 2023, 1,245 hours to run • Both MT propellers fitted new October 2023, 2,045 hours to run • Garmin G1000 integrated flight deck with GFC 700 autopilot • TKS ice protection system and built-in oxygen installed • Review of Airworthiness current to 26 June 2027 • Jet A-1 turbo-diesel economy, around 9 to 10 GPH combined • In active service, 395 hours flown in the past 12 months • Maintained to Diamond's maintenance programme by NZICPA AIRFRAME AND POWERPLANT Total Hours Since New 1,411.7 Serial Number 42-N244 Registration ZK-WUN Two Austro Engine AE300 (E4-C) turbo-diesel engines Jet A-1 fuel, FADEC single-lever engine control LH engine S/N E4-C-00347, 1,411.7 hrs since new RH engine S/N E4-C-06512, 554.9 hrs since new RH engine fitted new October 2023 Two MT MTV-6-R-C-F/CF190-69 three-blade propellers Both propellers fitted new October 2023, 554.9 hrs Carbon composite airframe Retractable tricycle undercarriage TKS ice protection system installed Built-in oxygen system with cylinder and regulator Two forward gull-wing doors and rear cabin door Four-seat cabin, light grey leather Fire extinguisher and emergency equipment
