Exterior NotesOriginal 1967 White with Blue and Black trim. Repainted in 1975. Hangared always. Overall condition 6.5 on 10 scale. Paint still has some gloss. One large area under right outboard wing bare metal. With touch up and detailing, Exterior can rise to an 8 on a 10 scale. Several plastic fairings have minor stop drilled cracks. Aircraft plexiglass original and in above average condition rating a strong 7.5 on 10 scale. Very little hangar rash and no hail.
Interior NotesOriginal Blue Vinyl Seats that show very little wear. Seat back plastic and carpet are complimenting Green. Seats 7 on 10 scale, Headliner 5 on 10 scale, Sidewalls 8 on 10 scale, Carpet 5 on 10 scale. Overall, Interior rates 6 on 10 scale. With replaced carpet interior would rise to a 7.5.
Inspection StatusStarted life with Cessna employees flying club. Has spent most of its life in Michigan. Had an apparent bird strike in 1967 at Wichita and received a replacement wing leading edge skin. In 1968 it was repaired after a landing incident that damaged the nose gear and firewall. In Jan 1975 it had a major repair. Cause unknown but well documented repair. In 1988 it had a battery acid leak that caused replacement of a skin and reinforcement member. Aircraft has been annualed nearly every year despite not flying much the last several years. It is turn key and ready for a new home.
