BELLANCA Aircraft For Sale

Bellanca, which is known today as the AviaBellanca Aircraft Corporation, was founded in 1927, but its roots go back to a few years earlier than that. Giuseppe Mario Bellanca built Italy’s first aircraft and then brought that experience to the United States in 1911. Bellanca served as the company’s president and chairman of the board until 1954 when the company was sold to L. Albert and Sons. The company was officially renamed AviaBellanca in 1983.

The Bellanca brand lives on today through the Bellanca Viking and Super Viking models manufactured by Alexandria Aircraft from roughly 1967 to 1979, and the company actually sold over 1,350 of them over that time period.

Bellanca airplanes for sale on Controller.com may include 17-30A Super Viking, Citabria 7GCBC, Decathlon 8KCAB, and Super Decathlon models. Although these planes aren’t currently being manufactured, Alexandria Aircraft remains in operation providing parts and service for existing aircraft.
