Columbia was an aircraft manufacturer that was in operation from 1995 to 2007. Based in Bend, Oregon, the company was known for building the Columbia 300, 350, and 400 series of light airplanes. In 2007, the company went through a bidding process and was eventually purchased by Cessna in November of that year.
The company’s airplanes still live on in some capacity through the Cessna 350 and Cessna 400, which are essentially spiritual successors to Columbia aircraft models of the same name. You’re also likely to find Columbia 300, 350, and 400 planes for sale on Controller.com.
