Bombardier will have a full-size interior mock-up of its upcoming seven-passenger Learjet 75 Liberty light business jet available at its static display at the upcoming NBAA-BACE (National Business Aviation Association-Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition). Bombardier will also offer Liberty-related promotional launch offers at the show, which runs October 22 to 24 in Las Vegas. Additionally, Bombardier will display its Global 6500, Challenger 350, and Challenger 650 corporate jets.

    A Look At The Liberty

Announced in early July and expected for 2020 deliveries at a $9.9 million list price, the Liberty features Honeywell TFE731-40BR engines and what Bombardier says is the light jet segment’s first Executive Suite. Located at the cabin’s front, the “spacious area” features two forward-facing seats, an “unprecedented” 3 feet (0.91 meters) of legroom, retractable 25-inch (64-centimeter) side tables, oversized stowable ottomans, and USB and power outlets. NBAA-BACE Attendees can also view a four-seat Club Suite configuration that provides 24 inches (61 centimeters) of legroom.

The Executive Club mock-up “will truly show light jet customers just how spacious and comfortable our newest Learjet is,” says Peter Likoray, Bombardier Business Aircraft senior vice president, worldwide sales and marketing.

“The Learjet 75 Liberty offers a larger cabin and superior performance for the same price as competitors, and it’s certified to a higher safety standard,” Bombardier says. And unlike most light jet competitors, the Liberty is certified to standards (Part 25) “applicable to commercial airliners.”

    Well-Equipped & Fast

The Liberty implements the Bombardier Vision flight deck, and features a recently announced Garmin G5000 avionics upgrade. The jet’s 2,080-nautical mile (3,852-kilometer) maximum range is enough to connect Las Vegas to New York nonstop and its Mach 0.81 top speed makes it the fastest aircraft in its class, Bombardier says.

Controller.com is the industry’s leading resource for new and used Learjet business jets for sale, including a number of Learjet 75 aircraft.
