Bombardier’s Global 8000 business jet will make its South American debut when the company displays the ultra-long-range model at the Catarina Aviation Show from 21 to 23 May at the São Paulo Catarina Executive International Airport in Brazil.

The 19-passenger jet, which supports city pairs such as São Paulo to Perth, São Paulo to Vancouver, and São Paulo to Dubai, will appear alongside the company’s 17-passenger Global 6500 and 10-passenger super-midsize Challenger 3500 executive jets. The latter led its class in deliveries in 2025, according to Bombardier.

Bombardier’s Position In The Brazilian Market

“Bombardier’s Global 8000 is at the pinnacle of business aviation today, and the Global 6500 and industry-leading Challenger 3500 are proven performers,” says Frank Vento, Bombardier vice president of sales for the U.S. and Latin America. “Being on-site at the Catarina Aviation Show provides Bombardier with the perfect opportunity to showcase the incredible performance and design attributes of these incredible aircraft. Bombardier is uniquely positioned in the Brazilian market, and we are delighted to be showcasing the incredible attributes of these impressive aircraft.”

    The World’s Fastest Business Jet

The Global 8000 was introduced in 2022 and entered service on 8 December 2025, shortly before receiving Federal Aviation Administration certification on 19 December. The aircraft received Transport Canada type certification on 5 November 2025 and European Union Aviation Safety Agency certification on 23 January 2026.

In addition to being the world’s fastest civilian aircraft since the Concorde—with an industry-leading top speed of Mach 0.95—Bombardier says the Global 8000 offers business aviation’s lowest cabin altitude at 2,691 feet when cruising at 41,000 ft. The jet also has a class-leading range of 8,000 nautical miles (14,816 kilometers) and is the only true four-zone business jet capable of such range, according to Bombardier.

    Global 8000 Features Worth Noting

The Global 8000’s performance is driven in part by its Smooth Flĕx Wing design and twin GE Passport engines, which each deliver 18,920 pounds (84.16 kilonewtons) of thrust. Bombardier says the wing design acts like an “in-air shock absorber” and utilizes leading-edge slats that give the aircraft access to up to 30% more airports than its closest rival.

While Bombardier says the aircraft offers takeoff and landing performance comparable to that of a light jet, passengers can expect comfort-enhancing and entertainment features that include:

    • The Bombardier Pũr Air system
    • The award-winning Nuage seat with a zero-gravity seating position
    • The Soleil lighting system to combat jet lag
    • An optional industry-leading 55-inch 4K television
    • Bombardier’s l’Opéra audio system with seat-centric sound technology
