Easily Compare The Operating Costs Of Multiple Aircraft Using Aircraft Cost Calculator

    Posted On: July 22, 2019

Obtaining a comprehensive, accurate depiction of how much an aircraft is going to cost long-term doesn’t have to be a time-consuming, resource-intensive process. In just minutes, Aircraft Cost Calculator (ACC) can compile more accurate aircraft operating-cost projections that include an aircraft’s purchase price but also capital cost considerations, potential charter revenues, and much more. Moreover, ACC lets you conveniently compare unlimited aircraft side by side in various ways.

    Calculations Made Easy

ACC serves private and fractional owners, commercial operators, flight departments, financial institutions, and charter operators who often make cost projections for private, business, and commercial piston, turbine, and jet aircraft and helicopters. You can use the cloud-based solution anywhere via PC, smartphone, or tablet.

ACC uses its database of 500-plus airframes to compile and present users editable, pre-loaded data they can start using immediately, including to generate comprehensive, professional reports for one or multiple aircraft featuring cross-section graphs, hour and annual aircraft cost breakdowns, costs depicted as percentages, and more.

Designed for private and fractional owners, commercial operators, flight departments, financial institutions, and charter operators who often make cost projections for aircraft and helicopters, the cloud-based Aircraft Cost Calculator solution is accessible from anywhere via PC, smartphone, or tablet.

    Make Cost Comparisons

Among ACC’s powerful features is the ability to quickly generate aircraft comparisons. A Cost Comparison Tool, for example, generates side-by-side real-world cost comparisons for unlimited aircraft with data conveniently organized in Annual Variable Cost, Total Variable Cost, and other sections.

Getting started only requires using drop-down menus for Aircraft Type (Fractional Jets, Twin-Engine Piston Aircraft, etc.) and Aircraft In Session (models for the chosen Aircraft Type) to add aircraft to a Session. ACC then automatically compiles data for comparison. To add or remove aircraft from the session, select the aircraft in the Aircraft In Session box and click the Or button. Adding or removing aircraft being compared uses the same method in the Aircraft In Comparison box.

Aircraft Cost Calculator’s Cost Comparison Tool lets users easily and quickly generate side-by-side cost comparisons with each aircraft being compared labeled at the top of the column for easy reference.

    Compare Operating Costs

ACC also enables generating side-by-side operating cost comparisons for unlimited aircraft. To do so, hover over the Tools tab on the home page and click View Main Data. The Aircraft In This Section will indicate the number and type of aircraft selected.

To add additional aircraft, click Add Aircraft To Session, select Add From Library to pick an aircraft from ACC’s database, and select Clone Data To Create Aircraft to copy data from the current section. You can also click Create Blank Aircraft and enter an aircraft name to start a blank cost comparison. Next, select the aircraft type, choose a specific aircraft, and click the Add (>>) button to add it to the active session. Click Continue To Calculator, input data into the fields as needed, and click Save Session.

One of Aircraft Cost Calculator’s most powerful and convenient features is its ability to let users compare unlimited aircraft in a side-by-side manner, including view comparing operating costs.

    Pricing Options

ACC is available in numerous pricing models suited for different user types. Besides monthly and annual subscriptions, piece rate options for generating only one or two reports periodically and subscriptions for specific aircraft categories are available, as is a free 2-day trial. Visit www.AircraftCostCalculator.com to get started.
