Pre-Owned Aircraft Inventories Continue Downward Trend, Driven By Large Jets
Sandhills Global’s newest market reports cover February data for pre-owned aircraft on Controller.com and other Sandhills platforms. Inventory levels continued trending downward in the pre-owned jet, piston-single, and turboprop aircraft categories in February. The largest month-over-month and year-over-year decreases occurred in the large jet category, down 16.1% M/M and 21.1% YOY.
Asking price trends remained consistent with January. Pre-owned jets and turboprop aircraft continued trending down, while piston-single aircraft values held steady. The most notable changes occurred in the piston helicopter segment, where asking values dipped 5.77% M/M, and the turboprop aircraft category, which saw asking values fall 4.17% YOY.
