Boeing Business Jets recently delivered the first aircraft from its BBJ MAX lineup to a private customer. The delivery is scheduled to fly to an interior finishing center. To commemorate the delivery, Boeing Business Jets introduced a new interior concept called Genesis, which comes from leading aviation design firm SkyStyle. Boeing says global customers have ordered 20 BBJ MAX aircraft to date. Besides the BBJ MAX family, Boeing Business Jets’ aircraft includes high-performance variants of its 787 Dreamliner, 777 jets, and 747-8 aircraft. Boeing says it has delivered 234 models since launching Boeing Business Jets in 1996.

    Serving The Private Jet Market

Based on Boeing’s 737 MAX aircraft, the BBJ MAX family includes the BBJ MAX 7, MAX 8, and MAX 9 models. Boeing says the aircraft offer 14% better fuel efficiency, including due to their use of advanced engines and improved aerodynamics. Boeing bills BBJ aircraft as being “perfectly suited for the demanding private jet market” and as providing more “range, comfort, and space than any business jet in its class.” The BBJ MAX offers a 7,000-nautical mile (12,964-kilometer) range. The aircraft uses CFM International LEAP-1B engines and integrates Boeing’s Advanced Technology winglet.

In a statement, Greg Laxton, head of Boeing Business Jets, expressed the company’s excitement in delivering a “longer-range and more capable version of the world's most popular business jetliner.” Laxton says “there has been great market interest and anticipation for the BBJ MAX, and our valued customers will soon be able to see the new standard in business travel."

To commemorate the delivery of its first aircraft from the BJJ MAX family, Boeing Business Jets unveiled a new Genesis interior concept for the aircraft from aviation design firm SkyStyle. Boeing says the concept drew inspiration from “nature's tranquility, its voluminous clouds hanging over a white sand beach, smooth rolling hills, and a starry night sky.” (Photo courtesy of Boeing and SkyStyle & KiPcreating.)
    The Genesis Of An Interior

According to Boeing Business Jets, SkyStyle co-founders Max Pardo and Lucas Colombo provided the “Genesis” name for the interior concept it unveiled with the first BBJ MAX delivery. Pardo said that from an aviation designer’s view, “the BBJ MAX is incredibly appealing because there is so much more interior space to realize one's vision." Because the BJJ MAX operates over ultra-long-distances, he said, “owners are looking for a comfortable lounge, multi-function conference area, and a large master suite to ensure the ultimate flight experience." Boeing says Genesis was inspired by “nature's tranquility, its voluminous clouds hanging over a white sand beach, smooth rolling hills, and a starry night sky.”

If you’re in the market for Boeing aircraft, Controller.com has numerous pre-owned Boeing Business Jets for sale, as well as new and used Boeing 737s, 777s, 757s, 747s, and 727s.
