Two fully outfitted production Gulfstream G700 flight test aircraft are about to embark on a world tour to give customers up-close access to the award-winning business jet. The aircraft are now appearing at the National Business Aviation Association-Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) 2022 trade show running through tomorrow (October 20) in Orlando. Following the show, they’re to appear at major events and private showings in 20 cities across six continents to showcase various standout features, including what Gulfstream says is the industry’s most spacious cabin.

“These outfitted G700 aircraft currently flying feature two of the most stunning interiors in business aviation,” says Mark Burns, Gulfstream president. “The strategic route of the G700 world tour reflects the strong demand we are seeing in established markets, such as Europe and the Middle East, and in growing markets for us, including Southeast Asia, India, and Africa.”

    Save The Date

Gulfstream introduced the 19-passenger G700 in October 2019 and completed its maiden flight in February 2020. The initial production test aircraft flight occurred in April 2021, and the second fully equipped test aircraft flew for the first time in September. Already, the G700 has established eight international city pair speed records; the aircraft also won 2020 and 2022 International Yacht & Aviation Awards for its Classic Seat and cabin design, respectively. The G700 is set to enter service this year.

The world tour is to include touchdowns in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and South America. Scheduled events include the Future Investment Initiative occurring October 25 to 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; the Bahrain International Airshow happening November 9 to 11; and the Middle East & North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) Show taking place December 6 to 8 in Dubai.

    Inside The G700

The G700 includes an impressive host of available cabin elements, including a grand suite with fixed bed and newly designed lavatory with full vanity and shower. Others include 20 panoramic windows that Gulfstream says are the industry’s largest and the industry’s only ultragalley, which has 10 feet (3 meters) of counter space. The G700 also has the industry’s lowest cabin altitude at 2,916 ft (890 m) when flying at 41,000 ft (12,500 m). The jet has a 7,500-nautical-mile (13,890-kilometer) flight range, a maximum speed of Mach 0.925, a high-speed cruise speed of Mach 0.90, and a long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.85.
