New Market Reports Underscore Mixed Inventory Trends For Used Jets, Piston Singles & Turboprop Aircraft
The new Sandhills Global market reports covering October data for used jet, piston-single aircraft, and turboprop aircraft on Controller.com and other Sandhills platforms show diverging inventory trends. Jet inventory levels shifted from a sideways to a downward trend, while the trend line for both pre-owned piston singles and turboprop aircraft shifted upward. Previously, piston-single inventory had been trending sideways, while turboprop levels had been downward.
Used jet inventory dipped 2.21% month over month and 15.7% year over year in October. The large jet category slid the most M/M, while the super mid jet segment posted the largest YOY decrease. Used piston-single inventory rose 2.57% M/M but fell 4.77% YOY. Turboprop aircraft inventory climbed by 4.95% M/M but dipped 15.87% YOY.
