Pre-Owned Mid Jet Aircraft Inventory Jumps, Asking Prices Decline Across Most Categories
Sandhills Global’s newest market reports cover March data for pre-owned aircraft on Controller.com and other Sandhills platforms. Inventory levels showed modest growth in select categories, with the largest month-over-month shift occurring in the mid jet segment, which rose 10.53%. Year over year, inventory increased in just one category, with piston helicopters up 40%, while piston-single aircraft saw the largest YOY decrease at 15.2%.
Asking prices in March decreased in most categories. The large jet segment showed the largest M/M decline, down 3.23%, followed by mid jets, down 3%. The most significant YOY asking price changes also occurred among large jets, down 7.6%, followed by mid jets, which were down 4.7% compared to last year.
